My name is Lieneke, but everyone calls me Lien. I am enthusiastic, positive, emotional (I laugh and cry a lot) and always up for adventures & exploring new things.
As a kid I always used to dream of working for television program Willem Wever. In this Dutch tv program kids can send in any question they have. It was absolutely a dream coming true when I got accepted to do an internship there (as a web-editor). Half a year later I was offered to work there full-time, eventually leading to me getting a permanent position at the Innovation Department. Wow, working in television actually worked out!
In the 6 years of working for the Dutch public media, I went from web-editor, to online content specialist to Innovation Lead. Then I made the switch to be my own boss. To finally have the freedom to follow all my creative ideas & adventures. In this article in TechGirl of the Month you can read more about me and my work (in Dutch).
Next to landing my dream internship and working in television, over the years I had so many dreams I turned into a reality. Big or small, here are a few of my highlights:

Traveling the world and being my own boss. In January 2023 I quit my job, becoming a freelancer and going to Thailand for 3 months (working remotely while traveling).

It has been a long time dream to make music, sing and perform. For many years I wanted to have my own handpan & this dream finally came true when I turned 33. With the money I earned as a freelancer I bought one for myself. This summer I will play at 2 festivals in the Netherlands and France with my handpan 😍

Becoming a certified Breathwork Teacher. After experiencing the incredible power and magic of breathwork myself at a festival, it became my dream to teach it myself to others. Eventually guiding workshops on festivals. After becoming certified in 2022 I now guide special breathwork & meditation sessions to help you get into a creative flow and to discover your joy!

Being able to dance on rollerskates. Through this rollerskate account that went viral I met the most amazing people all over the world. Skating in the U.S, Spain, Germany, France, England, Thailand. With one of my absolute highlights: going to a rollerskate festival in Barcelona.
My next dreams I am working on, all slowly in the making:
❤︎ Writing a children’s book (this has been a dream of mine since I was younger)
❤︎ Traveling the world in a campervan. From which I can host brainstorms, breathwork sessions and music jamsessions (I coined it my breath & beats bus)
❤︎ Becoming an ecstatic dance DJ with eventually making my own songs
